Tawesco is a supplier for the 2026 Car of the Year
Tawesco is involved in the production of the new Škoda Elroq electric SUV, which was named 2026 Car of the Year in the Czech Republic. We are delighted to be part of a project that has succeeded against strong competition and reaffirms the quality of the Czech automotive industry.
Tawesco is involved in the production of the new Škoda Elroq electric SUV, which was named Car of the Year 2026 in the Czech Republic this year. For this model, we supply components such as the rear bumper, the B-pillar, window frames, and roof reinforcements.
As a result, Tawesco is among the 18 companies that have earned the designation “Supplier for Car of the Year 2026 in the Czech Republic.”
“The Škoda Elroq succeeded against competition from prestigious brands, which confirms the car’s high level of sophistication and quality—from concept and design through to the production of individual parts. We appreciate being able to participate in this process,” says Tawesco CEO Margita Rejchrtová.
The model’s strong position is also confirmed by sales results. In 2025, more than 95,000 Škoda Elroq vehicles were sold in Europe, ranking it among the best-selling electric models. Second place in the Car of the Year 2026 poll is also Škoda’s best result in the history of this competition.
