We support employees who inspire us with their activities
Every year, we contribute to our employees' sports, cultural and social activities. Last year, a total of CZK 308,000 was distributed to 22 applicants. We are delighted that they used it in so many different areas of social life.
Who and what were we able to support through our programme in 2023, for example?
The Hladnov Rock Choir - a rock choir of young singers and musicians performing with a rock band and string quartet and participating in extraordinary musical projects not only in our region. Radek Petruška from Promet Group sings solo parts in it.
Table tennis section of TJ Sokol Horní Lhota - Zdeněk Černý is a master of assembly of Vamoz company, but also the chairman and coach of the youth section, which plays district and regional competitions and tournaments.
DC Glow Dance Club - Noemi (11) and Isabel (10), daughters of Monika Helclova from Tawesca Automotive, have been dancing there for two competitive seasons. And so far they are doing well. They've won medals at every competition, most of them gold.
The City of Gods Association improves the cultural life in the region and brings events and experiences to the city of Bohumín. Its member Michal Hmiro works at Promet Group. He used the grant to organize a talk called Special Dakar, featuring long-distance rally legends Tomáš Tomeček, Dušan Randýsek and motorcycle photographer Martin Straka.
Western performed by Nika Kovářová - daughter of Dana Kovářová from Tawesco is engaged in reining, which is one of the most important disciplines of western style of riding. She trains at the Paint Western Riding Club in Kozlovice and is great. At the final event of the Western Riding Club Championship last season, she won fourth and first place in two categories.
