We Participated in the “Run for” Charity Event
Nine colleagues from Promet Group lined up at the starting line of the Ostrava charity run to support the twins Radovan and Týnka. And they did great. They took second place in the team competition. But what makes us happiest is the outcome of the entire event. We managed to raise nearly 550,000 crowns.
The race took place in the vicinity of Bělský Forest. Some of our colleagues chose the 5-kilometer route, while the more daring tackled the 10-kilometer course. Among the runners was former national soccer team player Marek Jankulovski, the patron of this year’s event. After the race, we recharged our energy over dinner together.
We kicked off this year’s sports activities in the spring with a charity run in Komenský Park; in the summer, we headed to Vítkovice for the “Kolečko spojuje” event; and now we’ve gathered near Bělský Forest.
Much of the credit goes to Nikol Bukovská from the Strategic Procurement Department, who is the driving force behind our after-work get-togethers and is gradually getting her colleagues moving.
