We are starting to build new specialized workshops for technical students in Opava
We are starting the construction of new workshops for the Technical Secondary School in Opava. The modern new building will be located directly on the school grounds and will provide better facilities for the practical training of future mechanics, electricians, and CNC operators.
The new building will include two CNC workshops, an electrical workshop, and space for laboratory product testing. Teaching will thus be concentrated in one place, enabling more effective practical training for students. The building will have a capacity of approximately 60 people.
From an architectural point of view, the new building follows the character of the original industrial buildings – its distinctive feature will be a sawtooth roof, which will provide sufficient daylight without glare. The project also includes the installation of photovoltaic panels, barrier-free access, modification of paved areas, fencing, and new planting.
The CZK 72 million project is financed by the European Union, the state budget, and the Moravian-Silesian Region. We plan to complete the construction within 15 months. Teaching could begin in the new workshops in September 2027.
We are pleased to be part of a project that will support technical education and prepare students for a future in industrial fields.

Josef Bělica, Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region, presented a symbolic gold brick to Dalibor Maťo, Director of VAMOZ CONSTRUCTION.
