We are changing purchasing processes
The change should promote efficient purchasing behaviour for the benefit of all companies in the Promet Group, create a quality portfolio of suppliers and enable long-term cooperation with them. Our purchasing team manages contracts worth billions of crowns and a portfolio of more than 3,000 suppliers.
The first meeting of the purchasing management team was convened by Petr Vlček, Director of Strategic Purchasing, at VAMOZ CONSTRUCTION in Petřvald.
"We are starting a new era with group purchasing behaviour, so it is good to see each other like this and discuss openly. At this stage, we exchange experiences and coordinate individual procedures with the introduction of new rules across the whole group," he said, adding that meetings of the team composed of purchasing managers of individual PROMET GROUP companies will be held regularly several times a year and perhaps even less formally.
