The TAWESCO Family Day Once Again Brought Together Employees and Their Loved Ones
More than 800 employees in one place. Across generations. Colleagues, their partners, children, parents and grandparents. TAWESCO Family Day is an event we are happy to return to with our loved ones every year. And this year’s turnout showed that it has already become a firmly established September tradition.
The program was designed for all generations. Children waved from a seven-meter-high climbing tower, families played mini-golf together, and young and old alike took part in various forms of soccer. It was the sight of children, parents, and grandparents enjoying the afternoon together that best captured the atmosphere of the entire day.
Our Filipino colleagues, who are now an integral part of the Tawesco team, also joined us. The family-oriented nature of the event was further underscored by the presence of Tawesco’s director, Margita Rejchrtová, who attended with her loved ones.
There was also great interest in tours of the manufacturing plant. Visitors were able to tour at least part of the facility and see firsthand the technology their loved ones work with every day. Among these were, for example, robots that handle deep-drawn parts weighing up to 100 kilograms and can process more than 50 metric tons of material in a single shift.
The tour also included the tool shop, which is one of the largest in Europe. For the children, however, one of the highlights of the day was the foam show put on for them by the firefighters.
Family Day is an opportunity for us to connect in a different way than during a typical workday, while also allowing our loved ones to get a glimpse into the environment where we work every day. Judging by this year’s turnout, this tradition has firmly established itself at Tawesco.
