The Slovak “Strela” is back in Kopřivnice!
A national cultural monument, the Slovak Strela (Bullet Train), has returned home after half a year out of service due to engine failure.
The Slovak Strela is back in Kopřivnice! This national cultural monument was out of service for seven months due to an engine failure. The repair took a long time, as it was necessary to make new axial bearings for the crankshaft. In mid-December, the engine assembly was completed and a successful test carried out at Machač Motors. The engine was reinstalled in Přerov in January and the Strela was returned to its home track in the Depository on Saturday, January 28.
