Tawesco Welding Shop Modernization
One hall, three years of work, an investment of CZK 17 million. We are transforming one of Tawesco's largest halls. The heavy welding shop is undergoing a modernization that will streamline production both spatially and logistically, preparing the facility for higher production capacities.
The new welding facility will allow us to increase production for existing customers while gaining greater flexibility for new projects. In this hall, we weld large structural components such as frames, chassis structures, and other weldments for agricultural, forestry, and material handling equipment.
NEW WELDING SHOP – FEWER DETOURS, MORE OUTPUT
We are relocating machines and robots, removing original barriers, building new staircases, and installing new cranes. We have also created a new entrance and new handling routes.
- We are establishing clear corridors for forklifts, which will improve material flow and ensure smoother production.
- We are increasing safety. The hall will feature separate pathways for pedestrians and handling equipment, and we are building a second main transport artery.
The modifications are being carried out in stages during full operation, so production can continue uninterrupted. This reconstruction is part of a long-term investment plan. Over the past five years, we have invested more than CZK 1 billion into the modernization of TAWESCO.
