Tawesco Family Day attracted 1,200 people despite rainy weather
The event for the employees of Kopřivnice company and their famillies offered experiential rides on a polygon, go-karting or an excursion to the production halls. Many guests stayed until the evening hours, when the whole programme ended with a fire show.
There was a huge interest in experience rides in Tatras or Skoda Enyaq. Both adults and children were looking forward to them. During the afternoon eight experienced drivers accompanied them on the polygon and one of them was even Dakar racer Tomáš Tomeček, who came in a great mood. "Somehow the brakes aren't working," was just one of the catchphrases people heard in the Tatra during his unforgettable drives.
Eventually the weather calmed down so the children could try parkour, juggling and other attractions. Face painting and a crazy photo point were also a success. The music was provided by the band Golden Delicious and the food by LP Catering. The most delicious were tortillas and the Wallachian frgals. They were the first to disappear from the menu.
The Family Day also included a tour of the Tawesco production halls. Some partners and children saw their relatives work for the first time. But the Open Day also attracted those who have worked for us for many years. Former employees were very interested to see what has changed since their time at Tawesco. "We are thrilled...we feel very comfortable here," are just some of their reactions. No wonder. Some of them have spent their entire professional lives in the Kopřivnice company. "I am very happy that we have returned to the Tawesco Family Day after many years. There hasn't been such an event here for a long time and I think it is needed. Former employees were able to see what's new with us and current employees were able to show their families and friends where and how they work. That is why we like these open days so much," said Denisa Materová, member of the Promet Group Board of Directors, at the event. We also hope that everybody enjoyed the Family Day and we look forward to repeating a similar event again.
