MSV Brno: Denisa Materová in a panel discussion on industry digitization
The International Engineering Fair in Brno has once again confirmed its role as a venue for discussing important business topics. Denisa Materová spoke at the Leaders Talk panel discussion and shared her experiences with the digitization of TAWESCA in Kopřivnice.
TAWESCO recently joined the pilot project "Digital Factory of the Future" and is one of the first companies in Czechia to connect its production technologies to T-Mobile Czech Republic's private 5G network.
In addition to the CEO of the Promet Group, Kateřina Kupková (Lenzing Biocel Paskov), Vladimíra Michnová (CE Industries), and Marie ZEZŮLKOVÁ (Living Lab BVV Brno) also discussed the challenges and benefits of digitization in industrial practice.
Among other things, the following was said:
- We cannot do without digitization at all levels in the future, but it is about the symbiosis of modern technology and people. The human approach and emphasis on the human element must not be lost.
- The basis for the success of digitization is to motivate colleagues. Explain to them how the new technology will benefit them and how it will help them. That is why cooperation with HR is essential.
- Practical results are the strongest driver of success and development in digitization. It makes a difference when your employees see that they can check the quality of welds on a finished product in more than an hour or in a few minutes with modern technology.
- In order to invest, you have to generate profit.

Our representatives then attended the traditional Assembly of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic. A platform for dialogue between business, politics, and public administration. This year's guests included Czech President Petr Pavel and First Lady Eva Pavlová.
