Greening of the Tatra Metalurgie foundry through a camera view
The extensive two-year reconstruction, with an investment exceeding CZK 720 million, introduced new technologies that advance the foundry’s operations in terms of production efficiency and environmental standards.
The investment will significantly reduce dust and fugitive emissions from the production process. And by more than 90%! The greening includes new technologies for moulding, melting, extraction and filtration of fumes. A modern furnace cooling system and a new blast furnace are also essential. Some technologies are already in the testing process. Our companies KOFING - general supplier and VAMOZ are involved in the reconstruction of the foundry. The project will be completely finished next spring.
