Change in the management of Promet Group. Marcel Vrátný newly leads the Group’s investment and technical development.

Marcel Vrátný joined Promet Group as Director of the Engineering Division. During his time in this role, he contributed to the consolidation of the companies within the division, defining their strategies and strengthening their links with the parent company. He will now use this experience in his new position as Investment and Technical Director.

As part of our new development strategy, we have a number of interesting investment projects ahead of us. Before joining Promet Group, Marcel Vrátný worked at Veolia, where he held a similar position connected with technical management and investments for almost five years. He subsequently used the experience he gained at MH Teplárenský holding, first as Production Director and later as CEO.

In his new position, he will continue both the investment projects already under way across the Group and those that are planned. In recent years, Promet Group has invested significantly in the modernisation of its production plants and technologies, as well as in the more efficient use of industrial sites. The largest completed projects, with values amounting to billions of Czech crowns, include investments in Tawesco’s production site in Kopřivnice and the modernisation of foundries.

“Over the past more than two years, I have had the opportunity to get to know Promet Group not only from the perspective of the individual companies, but also from the perspective of how the entire Group operates and its strategic plans. My goal is to prepare investments to a high standard and successfully implement them so that they support the further development and competitiveness of our companies. Equally important to me is the systematic management and development of production sites, supporting individual companies in addressing their technical needs and further strengthening the culture of occupational safety across the entire Group,” says Marcel Vrátný, Investment and Technical Director of Promet Group.
