At TAWESCO, we are testing augmented reality directly in the production facility
In the future, the technology is expected to enable faster access to production data and more flexible production management. It is part of a pilot project for a private T-Mobile 5G network and the gradual digitalization of the company.
Upon pointing a mobile phone or tablet with the app at a specific machine, information about consumption, operating parameters, equipment status, or even an operating manual is displayed in real time. Everything right on the spot, without the need to search for paper manuals or walk over to separate control panels.
Testing takes place exclusively within the internal network and on company devices. We place emphasis on maximum data security and integrity.
"In the future, the system can simplify immediate on-site awareness of machines and equipment for colleagues managing production as well. At the same time, it would bring greater flexibility in operations management, including various alerts and notifications," says Milan Lebeda, Head of IT Support at Promet Group.
"We are currently in the pilot testing phase. We are verifying functionality in real operation and looking for ways to expand the system further," adds Milan Lebeda.
