PROMET CZECH s.r.o. – a subsidiary owned in 100% by PROMET GROUP; a business company dealing with supplies of raw materials for steel plants and foundries both in our country and in Europe

PROMET CZECH s.r.o. was established in 1992. From the very beginning it was engaged in supplies of the raw materials, especially raw iron for steel works and foundries in Czechoslovakia.

Later on, the company expanded its activities in the territory of neighbouring countries (Germany, Austria, and Poland) and started delivering coke and chemical products (i.e. coke, coke dust) and ferroalloys.

In the course of its existence it has attained a significant position in supplier-purchaser relationships with most Czech and Slovak foundries and steel works. At present, it belongs among strategic suppliers of such companies as Mittal Steel Group, Vítkovice Steel, U.S. Steel, etc.
